Our Process

Typically our referrals are from an APD waiver support coordinator.  In order to receive services through the ibudget Medicaid Waiver Program, the recipient must meet qualifications. Once we receive the referral and a confirmed physicians order, our respiratory therapist can begin services as ordered.

For all ibudget waiver recipients:

Respiratory therapy is a one-on-one service with a recipient age 21 years or older

Respiratory therapy is provided in the recipient’s place of residence

A recipient cannot receive more than 4 quarter-hour units per day. A unit is
defined as a 15-minute time period or portion thereof.
